Renowned for her taboo lyrics and her engaging beats, this will be M.I .A’s first Big Day Out performance. Aria award-w inning Angus and Julia Stone will also be featured at Big Day Out with their soulful and melodic tunes. Having toured around the world with their first album A Book Like This, their second album Down The Way won the 2010 Aria Best Album of the Year and Single of the Year for the song Big Jet Plane. Famed for her quirky nature and her colourful personality, home-grown songstress Sia will also be performing some of her most played hits, like Clap Your Hands, Bring Nights and You’ve Changed. Australians have fallen in love with Sia, w ho picked up two Arias in 2010 for Best Independent Album and Best Pop Release. All just around the corner at the Sydney Olympic Park, this year’s Big Day Out also includes Lupe Fiasco, the Deftones, the Bloody Beetroots Death Crew 77, Iggy and the Stooges and much much more.
